About
I'm a data and software engineer based in Ogden, Utah, with a B.S. in Integrated Engineering (Computer Science) from Washington & Lee University. I've been building tools by hand since 2022 and have worked across BI analytics, data engineering, and full-stack development — most recently building UploadHub, an internal publishing platform for a sports media company. I specialize in Python and increasingly in AI-assisted development.
I'm driven by a deep love of data — the fact that the right question, asked of the right dataset, can change how an entire team operates. I gravitate toward messy, real-world data problems: cleaning and normalizing raw records, building automated pipelines, and surfacing insights through dashboards that people actually use. Right now I'm focused on agentic AI development, growing as a full-stack engineer, and learning how to build and run products end-to-end.
I played football from 6th grade through college and spent two years as a volunteer missionary in Japan — which gave me a different kind of education in training people and managing large-scale operations. Outside of work I'm into baseball, piano (20+ years), music, photography, and anime.
